LOOK: Director Laurice Guillen to receive Lifetime Achievement Award in 67th Famas
Director/actress Laurice Guillen will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 67th FAMAS Awards for her contribution to Philippine Cinema.
The good news was announced by Laurice's daughter, opera singer, and actress Ana Feleo.
Laurice starred in the Kapuso series Genesis as Rosario Macalintal in 2013. The year after, she took the role of Dra. Fides Hernando-Torres in the series Carmela.
The 72-year-old also directed a few teleseryes under the Kapuso network such as Hanggang Makita Kang Muli, Ika-6 na Utos, and Ika-5 Utos.
The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards is an annual show that honors prize-winning writers, movie columnists, actors, and directors.
The awards night will be held at the Meralco theater on April 28th.
