GMA Regional TV adds color to Pistay Dayat

The fun never stops for Kapusong Pangasinense as GMA Network's regional arm GMA Regional TV (RTV) amps up Lingayen's annual Pistay Dayat Festival.

Tonight (April 30), Kapuso actor Benjamin Alves will host the Limgas na Pangasinan Coronation Night at the Narciso Ramos Gymnasium in Lingayen.

Kapuso actress Andrea Torres, on the other hand, will be one of the judges of the said competition. Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista and The Clash alumnus Anthony Rosaldo will provide special numbers for the Pangasinense.

The Limgas na Pangasinan is one of the most anticipated events during the Pistay Dayat celebration where the most beautiful and brightest Pangasinan ladies vie for the title and the opportunity to represent the province in various national and international beauty searches.

Last Sunday (April 28), no less than Love You Two lead actor Gabby Concepcion bannered the Kapuso Night held at the Pangasinan Capitol. Love You Two is a heart-warming romantic comedy series which made its worldwide premiere last April 22. The latest Telebabad offering sees the much-awaited tandem of Kapuso Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado and Gabby Concepcion.

Dragon Lady's Edgar Allan Guzman and Julie Lee joined Gabby in spreading kilig and fun among the crowd that night.

Meanwhile, The Clash Grand Champion Golden Cañedo headlined the musical entertainment together with The Clash alumni Jong Madaliday and Garrett Bolden. Hosting the Kapuso Night is comedian Donita Nose.

“Over the years, Pistay Dayat has become one of the biggest festivals in the country where we get to know more of Pangasinan and its culture and customs,” said GMA Regional TV Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso. “We remain grateful to the Provincial Government of Pangasinan for continuing to trust us in GMA Regional TV.
