That's the answer of former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach when asked if she ever knew that her friend and former Miss USA Olivia Jordan experienced being molested when she was young.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the beauty queen says that even though she cannot comment on the law created in the state of Alabama, she admits being unaware of what her friend went through.

“Well, you know that it's something that's going on the States.

“And I'm not really a 100% sure with the laws there and this issue is in the state of Alabama.

“On her personal note na shinare niya, I had no idea.

“She never really spoke about it, during her whole pageant life.

“'Di nya ever, ever shinare yan, so kaya talagang nakakagulat.”

GMANetwork.com interviewed Pia during the grand opening of Blue Water Spa in Ortigas, Pasig, on Wednesday, May 22.

Pia also mentioned that this incident made her realize that rape can happen to anyone, even the most perfect of people.

“And you kinda realize na it can happen to anyone. It can happen to anybody.

“Someone like Olivia, who I thought grew up perfect, meron palang pinagdadaanan 'yung tao.

“Like, you could be facing the most popular celebrity, pero 'yun pala meron pala siyang pinagdaanan.

“So, it really shows that it can happen to anyone.”

In recent reports, former Miss USA Olivia Jordan admitted on Instagram that she was molested as a child and raped as a teenager.
