EXCLUSIVE: Mikee Quintos on her upcoming concert with Anthony Rosaldo, 'Expect a lot of revelations'

Kapuso actress and singer Mikee Quintos is gearing up for another milestone in her career at the Kapuso network as she prepares for her upcoming concert with The Clash finalist Anthony Rosaldo entitled "Revelation."

In a one-on-one interview with GMANetwork.com, the actress mentioned that the audience should expect a lot to be revealed in the concert that will be held at the Music Museum this coming June 28th.

“Were actually still on the planning stage,” Mikee admits.

“So, from the title itself, Revelation, expect a lot of revelations from Anthony [Rosaldo] and I.

“Were actually planning it in a way na kahit kami we want to push our boundaries. We're still exploring, pero sana mag-enjoy 'yung mga audience. But for sure, it's something new from us.”

Mikee also shares that she's dusting off the cobwebs in her singing skills that she had set aside for her breakout roles in the Kapuso network.

“I'm taking dancing workshops as well as voice training.

“Kumakanta ako more now kasi ever since I got into showbiz sobrang nag-focus ako sa acting talaga kaysa sa singing. 'Cause it's something new for me.

“So, bago for me na ibalik ko 'yung focus ko sa pagkanta and sa pagperform. And sobrang namimiss ko 'to.

“And 'yun 'yung winiwish ko talaga! Na mabigyan ako ng opportunity to focus on those sides of me - who wants to sing and to dance. This is a great opportunity for that.”

Aside from getting the chance to perform again, it's a dream realized for the 21-year-old singer.

“Dream ko talaga ito. Feeling ko lahat naman ng tao may side na ganun.

“And 'yun 'yung mga gusto kong gawin sa concert namin and I actually spoke about it with the producers na gusto kong i-perform e 'yung mga gusto rin ng mga tao.

“Pero sila pa yung nag-stop sa akin para sabihin na, 'wag mong isipin kung ano 'yung nasa mind ng tao.

“Sabi nila, 'Gawin mo kung ano 'yung gusto mong gawin kasi this is your chance to show who you are and what you want to show them.' And that's what I'm going to do.”
