The Kagitingan Awards for Television is Central Luzon's first student-based media awards, and the winners were determined by the highest number of student votes.

GMA Network was chosen as Pinaka-magiting na Himpilan ng Telebisyon in this year's Kagitingan Awards for Television organized by Bataan Peninsula State University through the Office of the Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Kapuso shows aired in both GMA 7 and GMA News TV were also among the awardees.

The awarding ceremony was held earlier today, May 29, at the Grand Plaza Ballroom, The Plaza Hotel, City of Balanga, Bataan.
