Kapuso news personalities honored in this year's Rotary Club of Manila Journalism Awards

Some of GMA's most trusted news reporters and broadcast journalists were among the winners of the RCM Journalism Awards organized by the Rotary Club of Manila. The award-giving body aims to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals in the tri-media namely print, television and radio.

Susan Enriquez won as Television Female Broadcaster of the Year, while Tina Panganiban-Perez was chosen as Television Female Reporter of the Year. The Radio Female and Male Broadcaster of the Year awards were given to Ali Sotto and Joel Reyes Zobel, respectively. Meanwhile, GMA News Online was named News Online of the Year.

The awarding ceremony was held on Thursday, June 6, at the New World Hotel Makati Ballroom in Makati City.

The RCM Journalism Awards is the first in Asia and on its Centennial Year Milestone Celebration this year. The awardees were carefully deliberated upon by the Journalism Awards Committee and its club membership.
