LOOK: Karel Marquez welcomes newborn son, Kobe

Actress Karel Marquez and husband Sean Fariñas welcomed their first child together earlier today, June 19.

On Instagram, Karel shared a photo of her and her baby boy named Kobe Federico Santos Fariñas who was born at 1:47 in the afternoon at St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig city via cesarean section.

After the operation, Karel was already able to breastfeed and sleep beside her new little bundle of joy.

She writes, “We had our successful breastfeeding sesh just now too at 4:29pm and he is fast asleep na. I am so happy. Sharing my happiness with you all. Love you.

“So happy there's milk for him. I've been praying hard for this! O diba, I got time to post while he is asleep beside me at the recovery room.”

Karel and Sean got married in December of 2016 and credited her husband who served as a father figure to her children Keiley and Kyler.
