Julie Anne San Jose goes beyond the limit in 'Julie Sings The Divas' concert

Asia's Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose took entertainment into the next level as she sang the timeless classics of powerhouse divas in her one-night concert, 'Julie Sings The Divas,' held on Saturday, July 20, at The Theatre, Solaire Resort & Casino in Paranaque City.

The 25-year-old singer was accompanied by UP Arco String Orchestra, and was joined by internationally acclaimed and multi-awarded UP Concert Chorus, as her back-up singers.

Julie Anne said during the interlude, "This concert is very special for me because I get to sing my favorite classic and timeless songs.

"Siyempre, kasama ko po ngayon ang UP Arco String Orchestra and, of course, UP Concert Chorus.

She, then, continued, "First time ko pong gagawin ang concert na ito, guys, and I know that I've been singing for all of you like for more than a decade already.

"Sobrang nakakataba po ng puso na, siyempre, hanggang ngayon patuloy n'yo pa rin pong tinatangkilik ang aking kakayahan at kayo pa rin po ang kasama ko hanggang ngayon, so maraming salamat po."

Julie Anne showcased her impressive vocal prowess, performing the hits of Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Lara Fabian, Lady Gaga, Queen, Melissa Manchester, Maureen McGovern, and the like.

Of course, her concert made even special through the presence of her guests.

Pinoy Pop Superstar Season 3 Grand Champion Maricris Garcia and The Clash finalist Melbelline Caluag graced the two-hour concert, performing "Tell Him" by Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand.

On the other hand, international singer Arnel Pineda performed "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing," and made an electrifying duet with Julie Anne, singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen.

Spotted at the concert were Julie Anne's Sunday PinaSaya family, Barbie Forteza, Jak Roberto, Andre Paras, and Gladys Guevarra.

Meanwhile, her Studio 7 family including Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, and Cassy and Mavy Legaspi also came to support the Asia's Pop Sweetheart.

Wyn Marquez, Sam Concepcion, Chris Tiu, and events director Paolo Valenciano also watched Julie Anne's major concert.
