EXCLUSIVE: Barbie Forteza on 'Family History': 'It's a breath of fresh air.'

Award-winning Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza gave a special shout out to the whole team of the trending movie Family History, which features Kapuso comedian Michael V. and movie actress Dawn Zulueta.

Barbie watched the family drama movie with her boyfriend Jak Roberto during the grand 'pink carpet' premiere night held on Tuesday, July 23 at the SM Megamall Cinema in Mandaluyong City.

In her sit-down interview with GMANetwork.com, she described the movie as a “breath of fresh air” since most of films shown recently were romantic-comedy.

“I think it's a breath of fresh air since parang na sanay tayo na puro rom-com 'yung pinapalabas.”

Barbie added, “Ito talaga pang buong pamilya and nandun lahat ng genre, andun yung family oriented, andun yung comedy, yung love story, yung drama, yung conflict ng pamilya na relatable talaga siya.”
