LOOK: Willie Revillame extends 'Wowowin' experience on mobile via 'Wil2Play'

'Willie Revillame happily announced the expansion of Wowowin through a mobile game called 'Wil2Play.'

The Kapuso game show host officially sealed the partnership deal with entertainment company Synergy 88 to develop his own set of casual games called “Wil2Play,” held at the Salt Grill and Sky Bar at Ion Orchard Mall in Orchard Road, Singapore, on Sunday, July 28.

“It's like an extension of Wowowin, a 24-hour giving service to fulfill the dreams of less fortunate people,” said Willie during the brief panel interview after he signed the contract with Synergy 88 and August Media Holdings.

Willie added, “There's no money involved but it's more of [giving] gifts, especially like cars and houses. It's like an extension of Wowowin.

“That's why they thought of getting me to extend or to give hope to Filipino people especially the less fortunate people.

“You play and you win, that's it.

“You don't have to go to GMA. You just have to stay in your home. Wherever you are in the world, you can play 'Wil2Play.'”

He also stressed, “Actually, if there's a winner, I will be the one to award the prizes, so it's a surprise.

“It's like a game show, but it's through an app.”

On the other hand, Synergy88's director and co-founder Bernard Chong said they decided to feature Willie in the mobile game because he makes a lot of people happy and he's loved by a lot of people.

“Since we want to reach more people, he's expert in making a lot of people happy by changing their lives.

“So, we partnered with him for the better reach of the talent and the service that we could do with the Filipino people.”

Meanwhile, Willie said he feels very blessed to have been given this new opportunity to reach out and give hope to fellow Filipinos.

I never thought this will be really big. And I'm not just excited, I'm really blessed for choosing me in this project.

“I don't think this will stop. It will just go on and on.”

Joining Wowowin host in the contract signing were: Atty. Ferdinand Domingo, Elizabeth Estrada, brand head and business development of 'Wil To Play”; Synergy88's COO and co-founder Jackeline Chua; Synergy88's director and co-founder Bernard Chong; and August Media Holding's CEO Jyotirmoy Saha.

Willie was also supported by his co-host 'Sexy Hipon' Herlene Budol, Elaine Timbol, Almira Teng and the rest of his staff and crew.
