On July 30, the New York-based acting coach discussed in a media conference that he's looking forward to teaching the new and old batch of actors.

Anthony said that the actors are ready to absorb all that he will teach in the workshop. "They are hungry, they're talented, they're very committed. This new batch, they're exciting."

Actress Ana Feleo who is a facilitator for the workshop, stressed the effectivity of Anthony's workshop. She said that they have a good problem now; majority of the actors that are under the curriculum are hired in different programs. This is the reason why they had a tough time making the schedule work for their Bova workshop.

"They're always taping. Almost all of them are employed. Even the newer ones because of the good feedback in the workshop. And their ethics... They're now being hired in different shows. It's an encouragement that we are getting and producers are now in contact," she revealed.

Anthony added that they are teaching the actors not just acting techniques. He believes that they should also learn how to stay grounded.

He said, "The humanity of the actor, the maturity of the actor, because regardless of technique, if the actor is not grounded with strong values, it's going to be a problem."

Ana added that part of the lessons of the Kapuso actors is to learn more about ethics and professionalism.

"That's the good thing about the Bova brand, what we're trying to instill in the actors of GMA is that they are ethical and real professional actors who are capable of doing in-depth character work."
