Who says your mornings have to be drab?
If you're sick and tired of your usual bread and butter combo, then we have something new for you to try: flavored pandesal!
We all know that pandesal or bread salt is the most popular bread in the Philippines that can be bought on your local bakery or "panaderias." It's most commonly served hot and consumed by dipping in coffee, hot chocolate or milk.
And in some areas in the Philippines, they try to amp up this popular bread by including ingredients such as malunggay or coconut husks.
But why not try choco pandesal or matcha pandesal instead?
Earlier today, the Unang Hirit barkada got to try making these varieties with the help of baker Jana Dipatuan of Mrs. Pandesalan.
