That's what Mr. World Canada Alessandro Coward wants to impart if he wins the Mr. World title.

The blue-eyed 21-year-old shares exclusively to GMANetwork.com that kindness is a Canadian cultural trait he'd like to share with the rest of the world.

“Because a lot of people judge you on different things about being human.

“Everyone makes mistakes, no one's perfect. What's important is that you are able to move forward with your mistakes in a positive light.

“That you are able to look at a human and not go, 'I don't like him because of these points.'

“But to look at it from the other side and go 'I love him because he's human first and I really like these characteristics about him cause they're positive and because I see myself from that person.'

“And I think for me, what's amazing with Canada is that we embrace everyone.”

Despite his good looks and charm, Alessandro shares that he was actually born autistic and was diagnosed at the age of twelve.

But he didn't let this disorder hinder his dreams and even made it a point to be his driving force to be a voice of change.

“The most important is that you keep striving and driving for more.

“So being part of Mr. World for me is something that I'm proud of, to portfolio my autism.

“I'm autistic by birth and I learned that I was autistic by age twelve.

“So in the future, I want the world to look up to someone and go, 'He was bullied and everything was kinda not in his favor, but he still managed to develop a platform that was positive, progressive, and forward going.'

“What I'd like to do is to develop a place at which people could look up to as a figurehead that everything's gonna be alright because we could see what the potential of what this child could do well.

“I have a really good saying that goes 'Do the ordinary things extraordinarily well and you will be extraordinary.'”
