Habagat to bring isolated rains across Luzon, Visayas

The Southwest Monsoon, or Habagat, will continue to bring scattered rains over the western section of Luzon and the Visayas on Monday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Lanao del Norte will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, as of 2 a.m. on Monday, no Low Pressure Areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
