Meet Laurence Anthony De Guzman, the 14-year-old child prodigy whose wow-ing audiences with his talent and perfect pitch.

At a glance, you may think he's a regular teenager but at the age of two, Laurence was diagnosed with high functioning autism with speech delay.

However, this disability didn't stop his family.

At a young age both parents observed that Laurence loved to listen to music and by the time he turned eleven, he was gifted with 'perfect pitch' -- a rare musical talent in which a person can identify a musical note without the benefit of a reference tone.

His dad, Richard shares: “Everytime na nagkakaroon kami ng programs, napapansin ko sa kanya na lagi siyang in-tune.

“Iniisip ko, 'Meron kaya siyang perfect pitch?' Pero at first, I doubted.

“Sinabi ko lang sa kanya 'yung name nung notes. And then tinry ko siya kaagad and then I was surprised.”

Three years later, Laurence's talent was recognized all over the world and was even awarded as Autism Awareness Ambassador in UAE.

“I feel very happy, positive, calm in gaining my confidence even more.

“I can do anything in my own little world and be able to express my feelings to everyone. I'll make them understand what I feel using music and I'll play my music by heart.

“I'll never give up,” says Laurence.
