'Black Lipstick' deals with themes of self-love and acceptance, a topic which happens to be quite close to Kyline's heart.

According to her interview with GMANetwork at the 'Black Lipstick' media conference, the young actress admits that she used to not love herself.

"Actually 'yung phase na 'yon is parang last month lang.

"Doon talaga 'yung time na na-insecure ako sa sarili ko and I feel like hindi naman mawawala 'yon.

"Laging may devil around us and nasasaatin na lang iyon if we're going to push that devil away.

"I'm in my journey of loving myself and knowing myself even more," she said.

But what made Kyline change her mind and see herself in a new light?

"Si God. Ngayon, I'm in my journey din of loving God.

"I'm watching the series na 'Crazy Faith' by Transformation Church so doon ko nalaman na sobrang mahal pala ako ng Panginoong Diyos at basta magkaroon ka lang ng faith sa kanya, he will do everything.

"Namatay nga siya para sa atin."

In 'Black Lipstick,' Kyline will portray the role of Ikay, a young girl who often gets bullied due to her vitiligo. With the help of a magical tube of black lipstick, Ikay's life will undergo a whirlwind transformation.
