Studio 7 mainstay Migo Adecer said he's used to seeing Kyline being her usual playful self during their Studio 7 tapings, so he was surprised to see a more serious side of her in their Black Lipstick shoots. “Sa totoo lang, I see Kyline sa work and she's always makulit, minsan annoying,” he said jokingly.

He added, “On a serious note, here in [Black Lipstick] one of the finest moments I've seen Kyline Alcantara in her craft, sobrang focused siya kahit puyat she still comes on time and gets the work done.

Migo commended Kyline's work ethic, and predicted the young Kapuso actress will become a fine leading lady someday. “She asks questions, and I believe we have a leading lady already in the making and this is her stepping stone.”

For Manolo Pedrosa who's worked with Kyline for Inagaw na Bituin, seeing the actress in her element as a dramatic actress for Black Lipstick is no surprise as he's used to doing heavy scenes with her for their drama.

“While we were doing this we were also doing Inagaw na Bituin minsan tuloy-tuloy ang work so we got to know each other. I saw her passion and her hardworking personality, she'll really try to get what she wants and I'm proud of her,” Manolo narrated.

Kapuso stars Kyline Alcantara, Manolo Pedrosa, and Migo Adecer, along with Kate Valdez, Angel Guardian, James Teng, and Kapuso beauty queen Thia Thomalla star in Black Lipstick.

Directed by Julius Ruslin Alfonso, Black Lipstick will be seen in cinemas nationwide starting October 9.
