After Yasmien won runner-up with Rainier Castillo, Dion (and Sheena Halili) became the other parties sa love team ng dalawa for Joyride.
Kahit na hindi na sila naging love team partners ulit until Saan Darating ang Umaga, the two remained close friends. Nakatulong rin that they still got to work together sa SOP nung naging part si Dion ng All-Star Band, and when the two were picked to become voice actors for the local airing of Bleach, the anime series. Nagkasama rin sila sa Stage 1, Happily Ever After, Bakekang, and Babangong Ako't Dudurugin Kita. At bukod sa kanilang passion for acting, pareho rin silang may passion for music. While Dion has none of Yasmien's two albums, numerous musical videos and music awards yet, hindi naman siya nagkakandarapa na makakuha agad ng mga ganoon. He prefers to take his time, and to wait for his own moment to shine. Yasmien, on the other hand, is currently riding on her fame—but she's also being practical about it. Just recently, bumalik si Yasmien sa kanyang pag-aaral, because she knows that the glitz and glamour of show business does not last forever for everyone. Also, she started to become active again sa kanyang PETA advocacy.
