All about ambition ang latest GMA-7 Koreanovela remake

It's all about ambition when 'All About Eve' begins airing sa darating na Lunes, March 9. At hindi lang ito dahil sa very catchy theme song ng series. Unang linggo pa lang, siguradong magiging laman na agad ng usap-usapan ang show na ito. And why not? GMA has worked really hard for this. How hard? Text by Jason John S. Lim. Photos by Mitch S. During the press conference for All About Eve, binati na agad ni Miss Wilma Galvante, Senior Vice President for Entertainment, ang tumatakbo sa isip ng marami—ang reunion nina Iza Calzado and Sunshine Dizon na huling nakita sa Impostora.
"I'm sure na-miss nating lahat," Miss Galvante says of the pairing. "Kaya muli natin silang pagsasamahin." And to add sweet icing to an already scrumptious cake, Miss Wilma adds: "For the first time din sa GMA, magsasamang muli sina Jean Garcia at Eula Valdez." Gilberto R. Duavit, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the network, says of the soap, "The original was one of the most-loved Koreanovelas [GMA has aired]. Sa panibagong buhay nito, sinisigurado naming [mas] akma ito sa panlasa ng Pilipino." All About Eve is a story about ambition, emotion and deception—tatlong mabibigat na salitang magpapaikot sa mga characters ng show. "Mula sa magkakasunod na tagumpay ng MariMar, Ako si Kim Samsoon at LaLola, na-inspire kami na muling gumawa ng Pinoy version [of a much-loved Koreanovela]," says Felipe L. Gozon, Chairman and CEO of the network. "Maaaring mas iibigin niyo ngayong ang our very own All About Eve."
And talaga namang in good hands ang programa, with director Gil Tejada, Jr. helming the project. "Pinapanood ko 'to kahit gabing-gabi na," he confesses. And though this version will be very Filipino, Direk Gil promises na they will not change the core plots that made All About Eve special—"Most of it, na-adapt namin." New characters have been added, Direk Gil says, "to spice up the program". Pero sisiguraduhin niya that the emotions will still be true, and that the viewers will still see the values na inherent sa ating mga Pilipino. Share ni Direk Gil, hindi pa rin daw siya makapaniwala na sa kanya ipinagkatiwala ang ganito kalaking project: "Actually, sobrang nakakalula talaga. Hindi ako makapaniwala." He says, when Miss Lilybeth Rasonable, Supervising Producer of the program, approached him to direct the series, "Natulala ako." Let's just hope na hindi na mangyari 'yan sa set. But from what we've seen during the premiere night? Our very own All About Eve is going to be one very interesting trip back sa original story ng All About Eve.
