WATCH: Gretchen Barretto drags Ruffa Guttierez into family feud

On Wednesday night (October 23), actress and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez left a comment on Julia Barretto's photo that says “Freshhhhhh.”

This didn't sit well with the eldest Barretto sister, who has a long-standing feud with the young actress' mother Marjorie.

Gretchen reposted the photo on her Instagram stories and encircled Ruffa's comment.

“Sawsaw pa more Ruffy! Take it, take it,” she wrote.

The latter is in reference to the scandal that hounded the 1994 Metro Manila Film Festival when Ruffa's win for Best Actress was put into question.

In a cryptic Instagram post, Gutierrez fought back with the quote: “I no longer sit at the table where I might be the topic when I get up.

“Thank you, Lord for the gift of family and true friends. Love, love, love,” she added.

Similarly, the former beauty queen posted a photo on Instagram with the caption that read: “The next time they try to put you down, just remember that confidence is silent but insecurities are loud AF.”

This story is a follow up from the newest controversy surrounding the Barretto family after a scuffle that broke out between sisters Gretchen, Claudine and Marjorie in the wake of their father, Miguel.
