“Here's to being better than before soon,” says Alex Diaz as he leaves the country for an indefinite leave from showbiz.
Model/actor Alex Diaz, or James Alexander Diaz McDermott in real life, has decided to take a break from showbiz.
This was after the controversy involving a fitness coach, who accused him of sending indecent proposal and outed him online.

On his Instagram post, Alex said that he will be back soon and he will take this time off to become a better version of himself.
“leaving the ph now for a little while. see you all in time.
“Heres to being better than before soon--in mind, body and in spirit, cheers.”
Alex Diaz received a lot of support from netizens and from the LGBTQIA+ community, after a fitness coach posted on social media screenshots of their private messages, which he allegedly shows proof that the actor offered him an “indecent proposal.”
The former had already apologized about the matter and proudly admitted too that he is bisexual.
Alex Diaz plans to champion acceptance and representation for the LGBTQIA+ community moving forward.
