The chinita host shared her thoughts on Instagram about this latest feat in her career and what a quarter of a century in GMA-7 has been for her.

Lyn wrote, “This month officially marks my 25th year in GMA. that's a quarter of a century!

“i've spent more years IN @gmanews than Out of it since i started as a News Anchor in GMA NEWS LIVE before i even hit age 21....in a month and 2 days, i'll be 46 years old and i'm still here!”

She clarified that her more than two decades with GMA-7 was bittersweet, but she would rather focus on being happy.

Lyn added that her Kapuso journey has been a "great ride."

“25 years is a very long time. it has not been without challenges, disappointments and heartbreaks. but as a wise woman (a boss of mine) once told me, you can look at it two ways: in a nutshell, look at what you've been through and ended up with and be happy...or NOT.”

“I always say happiness is a choice, and i choose to be happy. Life is good. Everything I have is a blessing. it has been a great ride.”

Lyn didn't forget to give thanks to her home network for giving her the opportunities and to the person who opened the doors for her in GMA-7.

“Thank you @gmanetwork and a special thanks to Mr. Tony Seva for hiring me over two decades ago”
