Kapuso artists nominated for Star Awards for Music 2019

Kapuso artists are among the nominees for Star Awards for Music 2019.

Alden Richards and Christian Bautista are nominated for Male Recording Artist of the Year while Julie Anne San Jose is up for the Female Recording Artist of the Year award, and Album of the Year.

The Asia's Pop Sweetheart is also nominated for Female Pop Artist of the Year along with other Kapuso nominees Rita Daniela and Kyline Alcantara.

Kyline and Alden are both nominated for Pop Album of the Year while The Clash 2018 grand champion Golden Cañedo is nominated for New Female Recording Artist of the Year along with Mirriam Manalo.

The Clash alumni Anthony Rosaldo, Garret Bolden, and Jong Madaliday are among the nominees for New Male Recording Artist of the Year. On the other hand, Nar Cabico is nominated for Music Video of the Year.
