Benjamin Alves remains to be a Kapuso: 'I belong here'

It comes with no surprise that Benjamin Alves has renewed his contract with GMA Network today, November 12, as the Kapuso actor feels GMA has always been his home.

Benjamin was accompanied by his manager Jonas Gaffud, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and GMA Assistant Vice President for Alernative Productions Gigi S. Lara at his contract signing.

The actor said in an interview with Cata Tibayan, “[I feel] humbled and honored na after all these years na sina Ms. Gigi, Ms. Lilybeth, everyone from GMA and Artist Center still believe in me. They let me grow as an artist and as a person.

"Nakakatuwa po. Sana po hindi sila magsawa. Sana po sa mga upcoming projects and even the projects I did, makita nila 'yung appreciation ko at 'yung gratitude ko sa pagbibigay po nila ng kontrata ulit.”

According to Benjamin, he has always felt at peace and at home with the Kapuso network.

He explained, “This has always been my home. I've always felt at home here from the time that I started. Never po akong nag-isip or nag-doubt na ito po talaga, that I really feel like I belong here.

"From the start, from the time I signed my first contract here, they've never made me feel like I wasn't welcome or I wasn't part of the family here.

“So nakakatuwa po and that means a lot. I think I want to show that appreciation by doing well in the soaps that they've given me and to stay loyal to the network as long as they'll have me.”
