LOOK: Michelle Dee meets up with Miss World 2013 Megan Young

Before appearing on her send-off party yesterday, November 13, Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee made a quick stopover to former Miss World titleholder and Kapuso actress Megan Young.

During the presscon, Michelle confirmed that the Miss World 2013 gave her a few words of advice before flying off to London where she'll be competing against more than 100 countries.

“I've met up with Megan earlier and I asked her about her experience when she won and she did a lot of charity work.

“She will be gone for two months at a time -- straight. Come back for two weeks and then leave again just doing charity work.

“And that's the kind of qualities the Miss World Organization are looking for in a girl --someone who actually wants to do work.

“Someone who doesn't dream of being plastered on every billboard but somebody who wants to be remembered by the underprivileged or people that needed help.

“Somebody who can be an inspiration, a voice, a helping hand.”

In a separate interview with GMANetwork.com, Megan has high hopes for the 23-year-old beauty.

“Good luck to Michelle.

“I really hope she bags the crown for the second Miss World.

“So yun ang lagi nating pinag-pe-pray. Na ang representative natin laging manalo and I don't know what preparations she's doing but I can't wait to see her on stage this December.”

Michelle will be flying off to London and will be competing for the Miss World crown come December 14.
