Last year pa nag-break si Iza Calzado at ang kanyang non-showbiz boyfriend pero hanggang ngayon Iza is still loveless and confesses that she is taking her time before committing herself once more. At the moment nag-e-enjoy siya sa kanyang pagiging single and would rather keep to herself kung ano ang status ng dating life niya. “Ngayon, masasabi ko na I’m happy with my life now. That’s all I could say, [na] masaya ako,” ang nakangiting paliwanag ng magandang actress. “Kung ano man siguro 'yung nangyayari sa buhay ko ngayon, hindi pa ako ready na i-share. Ang tagal nung relationship ko dati and it was so out in the public, kaya sabi ko kung magkakaron ako ng boyfriend, it will take a while before I come out. It’s gonna take a while before I share it with the public. Sana maintindihan ninyo,” dagdag pa ni Iza habang ini-interview siya ng iGMA. Nilinaw din ni Iza na she and her ex are still on good terms at sometimes they still hang out together: “It would be very hypocritical if I say that I do not miss his company. But the great thing about it is we're friends.” But can you really be just friends with your ex? “It depends kasi on what type of person you're dealing with. If I were dating an asshole, and if I wasn’t, if we didn't have such a good foundation siguro and honestly such a great guy, eh 'di wala. Iba-iba kasi ang tao, eh. I can't say na the guys I dated before, ganito ‘yung turnout. So iba-iba siya ng situations at iba-iba rin ang resulta.” As for her advice sa mga single ladies out there, here's what she says: “Stick to your decisions—at least for the time being until you realize okay it is a good decision or a bad decision. Leave no stone unturned.
