Glaiza de Castro has so far earned three Best Actress awards for her performance in Liway.
Glaiza de Castro was hailed as Best Actress in the recently concluded 37th Film Academy of the Philippines Luna Awards.
The Kapuso actress was recognized for her outstanding performance in the 2018 independent film Liway.
This is the third acting award that Glaiza received for Liway.
She was previously honored as Best Actress in the 3rd GEMS Awards and Platinum Stallion Media Awards.

Glaiza's Liway stint was also acclaimed by Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (FAMAS) as it was nominated as an Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in 2019. She also received nominations as Best Actress in Gawad Urian Awards 2019 and Star Awards for Movies 2019.
Liway, directed by Kip Oebanda, is a 2018 indie film about the true experiences of a mother raising her child as normal as possible in a makeshift prison camp for dissidents during Martial Law. Using stories and songs, she tries to find joy even in their difficult life.
