Miss Universe 2019 is Miss South Africa! Congratulations to the new queens!
Among 90 contenders, the newly crowned Miss Universe is South Africa's Zozibini Tunzi
The coronation night was held today, December 9 (Manila time), in Atlanta, Georgia.

Miss Universe - South Africa Zozibini Tunzi
First Runner-Up - Puerto Rico Madison Anderson
Second Runner-Up - Mexico Sofia Aragon
Best National Costume - Philippines Gazini Ganados
Miss Congeniality - Poland Olga Bulawa
During the question and answer portion, Miss Universe host Steve Harvey asked “What is the most important thing we should be teaching young girls today?
She answered, “I think the most important thing we should be teaching young girls today is leadership.
“It's something that has been lacking in young girls and women for a very long time, not because we don't want to but because it is what society has labeled women to be.
“I think we are the most powerful beings in the world and that we should be given every opportunity and that is what we should be teaching young girls today is to take up space.
“Nothing is much more important than taking up space in society and cementing yourself.
Despite not landing a place in the Top 10, Philippine-bet Gazini Ganados won the Miss Universe 2019 National Costume contest designed by Filipino couturier Cary Santiago.
