Actor Miko Palanca passes away at 41

The family of Miko Palanca has confirmed the actor's untimely death in a statement made early Tuesday, December 10. Miko was 41.

The statement read:

“We are extremely saddened and heartbroken by the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Miko Palanca.

“The whole family is grateful for the incredible outpour of love and support that has been coming in today.

“As of now, we would like to respectfully request for privacy as we go through this very difficult time. Again, we appreciate all the love and support --thank you so much.”

It was signed by their mom, Pita Revilla together with siblings Lisa, Bernard, Erika, Martin, and Santi.

The family didn't disclose any details regarding the death and cause of Miko's death.

His sister also shared a personal message to her kuya.

“I love you. Didn't say it enough, but I did. I do. So much.

“I'm so glad I got to tell you how much I looked up to you growing up. Thank you, kuya,” she wrote.

Miko belonged to the famous Revilla clan on his mother's side. Together with his brother Bernard, they started their career in the early 2000s.
