Michelle Dee's golden national costume is officially out for the world to see and it's keeping fans wanting for more!

Aptly called “The Philippines Sun Princess,” Michelle's haute couture Francis Libiran gown just shows how proud and patriotic she is.

The gown was revealed yesterday by Michelle, as well as various news and media outlets including GMANetwork.com.

According to the Pinay beauty, the design is a state-of-the-art version of the Philippine Terno and preservation of the rich Filipino culture.

“The design of the sun on the collar is inspired by the sun of the Philippine national flag, customized in Francis Libiran signature intricate Art Deco embroidery, which symbolizes optimism, positivity, and courage.”

It also features a custom embroidery patterns inspired by the historic Visayan tattoo called “Batek” found in the earliest illustrations of Visayan warriors that symbolizes bravery and triumph.

The Francis Libiran gown, which reportedly costs around PhP1.3 million, is made of fine soft tulle and was intricately embroidered with hand-made beadwork.

Netizens are undoubtedly in love with Michelle's national costume and the talent Libiran showed while crafting the haute couture gown.

Michelle will be competing against more than 100 women for the title of Miss World 2019.

The coronation night will be held at ExCel London on December 14. The pageant will also be aired via satellite the same day on GMA-7 at 10:20 pm.
