GMA Network dominates 6th Inding-Indie Film Festival

GMA Network continues to win big in various award-winning bodies, this time around dominating the 6th Inding-Indie Film Festival Awards with 23 citations.

Receiving this year's “Inding Indie Excellence Award for Pinakamahusay na Mamahayag ng Taon” are GMA News and Public Affairs Mariz Umali and husband Raffy TIma. Similarly, Emil Sumangil is awarded as the “Inding-Indie Excellence Award for Most Trusted TV News Personality of 2019.”

Vicky Morales was awarded “Huwarang Personalidad sa Pagkalinga at Pagbabalita” while Kara David brought home the “Pinakamahusay na Mamamahayag ng Taon.”

A number of GMA News personalities were also recognized during the awarding ceremonies held tonight, December 20, at the Tanghalang Pasigueno in Pasig City.

Included in the list are GMA News personalities Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco, Arnold Clavio, Malou Mangahas, Mav Gonzales, and Cesar Apolinario.

Kapuso stars Alden Richards, Glydel Mercado, Gladys Reyes, Kris Bernal, Lovely Abella, and DJ Janna Chuchu were also recognized by the award-giving body.

Furthermore, GMA shows like Onanay, Reel Time, Maynila together with DZBB and Papa Marky of Barangay LS FM were also honored in the ceremony.

Now on its 6th year, the Inding-Indie Film Festival honors film, TV, radio, and the actors and directors who freely express their views and emotions through art.
