Stay safe out there. For those of us heading to work, make sure to cover your nose/mouth and your eyes. Better cautious than sorry.

UPDATE: I learned through the comments section and text messages from friends that Batangas, Cavite and even BGC and Pasig which is in Metro Manila are also affected. My husband who is in Batangas for work sent me this photo. He said that TAAL VOLCANO erupted. Let's pray for the people in Tagaytay. I don't know how they are at the moment but so many families live there. I am also worried about the animals residing near the volcano. 😔 I hope they too, are getting help. Let's update each other through the comments section of this post on the current status of Tagaytay and share means of helping particular areas that needs help. . Let's pray for the families, including the wild animals in the area. . Please include my brother Eujin, Sir Chito Miranda, Neri and their son in your prayers. Tagaytay is their home. Salamat po.

Forty three years after its previous major explosion, Taal volcano spewed massive cloud of ash that drifted across the Southern and Northern parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila and Batanes Group of Islands in the extreme north of the country.

As of writing, Taal Volcano remains at Alert Level 4 following its phreatic eruption.

Fall of large rock fragments in some parts of Batangas were also reported.

Be sure to stay alert, aware, and updated, mga Kapuso!
