Jo Koy donates to Mowelfund

Jo Koy's donation will benefit the marginalized workers in the Philippine movie industry

After receiving his star at the Walk of Fame at Eastwood City yesterday, it was revealed that Fil-Am standup comedian Jo Koy donated two million pesos for the
non-government organization Mowelfund.

According to Federico Moreno, son of the late German “Kuya Germs” Moreno and the President of the Walk of Fame Philippines, their target for the Mowelfund
was simply one million pesos.

“My target was one million for the Mowelfund. We have about 30 thousand dollars from the Jo Koy Entertainment. So that's about 1.5 million pesos.”

Then Jo Koy added, “And then I told my manager and my agent that they can't work with me unless they put money in so we added another 5,000 dollars from
Arsonhouse and another 5,000 dollars from CAAA. So that's 40,000.”
