Christian Bautista wins Male Recording Artist of the Year at the 11th PMPC Star Awards for Music

Christian Bautista bagged the Male Recording Artist of the Year at the 11th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Music held last night, January 23, at the SM North Skydome in Quezon City. He shared the same award with Jed Madela.

Christian took to Instagram to express his gratitude to the PMPC Star Awards for Music for the recognition and for having him as one of the hosts of the annual music awards again. For this year's edition, he hosted the event with Kris Lawrence.

The Asia's Romantic Balladeer wrote, "Thank you PMPC Star Awards for Music 2019 for the Male Recording Artist of the Year recognition together with @jedmadelaofficial. It was a great night for OPM. Thank you as well for the opportunity to be one of your hosts once again. Congrats to our bosses at @kathleendygo @peterchanur, Sir Ramon Chuaying, Dr James Dy, @universalrecordsph @iamkylejuliano @itorapadas_freetime our engineers Willy and Gil and everyone on the team."

The All-Out Sundays star also thanked GMA Vice President for Program Management and Head of Acquisition Department, Joey Abacan, and the Network itself "for allowing the song "Aking Mahal" to be the theme song of The Crown Princess in the Philippines."

Christian then thanked the management who handles his singing career, Stages Talent, headed by Carlo Orosa, his wife, Kat Ramnani, his family, and his supporters. "Thank you always @stagestalents and @carloorosa and the entire team. Thank you to the @xtianfriendsph @indocf. Thank you to my wife @katramnani. And to my family as well."

He concluded, "Thank you, God. Congrats to all my fellow nominees as well. We win as one always."

Aside from Male Recording Artist of the Year, Christian also bagged the special award, Male Star of the Night.
