By Racquel Quieta

People know Vicky Morales as the soft-spoken and kind-hearted host of one of GMA-7's longest-running public service program Wish Ko Lang. But come February, the award-winning Kapuso news anchor and TV host will transform from "Fairy Godmother ng Bayan" to "Ate ng Bayan," as she begins a new reality-drama program titled Ilaban Natin 'Yan, a show that aims to discuss and address the different issues that families and communities face.

Ilaban Natin 'Yan will have a traveling confessional, where people from all walks of life can voice out their concerns.

The show will also showcase the most interesting story through a dramatization. Then the featured individual and all the concerned parties will have the chance to discuss the issue at hand, right in the comfort of their own barangay.

Among the Kapuso stars who will act out the story of the featured person for its pilot month are Thea Tolentino, Anjo Damiles, and Jaclyn Jose.

After the dramatization and discussion of the issue, Vicky, together with experts, will give their two cents on the problem and help resolve it.

Ilaban Natin 'Yan hopes that this new program will serve as a great platform for people to be heard, and for them to get the advice or help that they need most.

It also aims to give enlightenment on several issues such as social media and gaming addiction, teen suicide, juvenile delinquency, inheritance dispute, child support and custody battles, and many others.

This February, Vicky will definitely be transforming lives for the better. For more than a decade, she had been doing this in Wish Ko Lang by giving people gifts that will improve their quality of living, or bring them more income.

But this time, Vicky will help people better their lives by getting to the root of their problem and encouraging them to make positive changes, that could bring about positive outcomes that could last for the rest of their lives.

Ilaban Natin 'Yan will start airing this February at GMA-7.
