Coney Reyes reminisces about the start of her career in GMA way back in 1975

Seasoned actress Coney Reyes was among the brilliant stars present at the media conference of the upcoming Kapuso drama titled Love Of My Life.

At the start of the media conference, Coney expressed her gratitude to GMA, which is now on its 70th year, for kick-starting her career way back when.

"It's such a blessing to be part of something that Channel 7, GMA, is doing for its 70th anniversary. For those who have not yet been born during [those days], I started my career in 1975 here.

"My first daily show was Student Canteen before I moved on to Eat Bulaga and then my first drama was Coney Reyes-Mumar Studio which went on to be Coney Reyes-Mumar on the Set and then Coney Reyes on Camera," she said.

Coney also talked about how much of a privilege it is to be able to work with some of the brightest Kapuso stars today in Love Of My Life.

"It's really just a joy to be back here and in GMA to do this special teleserye with such talented group of artists. It's been a real joy working with each one of them, discovering them, along with the production staff and the crew. [Direk] Don Michael Perez I think is a brilliant director.

"We learn from each other. If they say they learn from me, I also learn from them so it's a continuous learning process."

Watch for Coney Reyes, Carla Abellana, Mikael Daez, Rhian Ramos, and Tom Rodriguez in a one-of-a-kind drama in Love Of My Life, starting this February 3 on GMA Primetime.
