#ThrowbackThursday: Nelson Canlas looks back at interview with Alden Richards in 2012

Nelson Canlas took us back to 2012 with a throwback post of his interview with Alden Richards.

Alden, who is now Asia's Multimedia Star, was still a newbie in the showbiz industry when he was interviewed by Nelson and then Kapuso star Iza Calzado.

Nelson wrote in his post on February 5, “On this day back in 2012, Iza and I interviewed (for defunct show Showbiz Exclusives) a relatively new Kapuso actor who we fondly call RJ.

Eight years after, the Kapuso showbiz reporter claimed that Alden has remained the same despite his stardom.

He added, “Years down the line, who would have thought he will be this young showbiz icon (with abs, btw). Well, RJ is RJ for a lot of us, with or without abs, because the way he treats people never changed. Miss you, Iza. Special shoutout to Direk Manny and PEP superstar Nikko.”
