'LSS,' 'Babae At Baril, 'Write About Love' among the movies to be screened in Osaka Asian Film Festival 2020

LSS, Babae at Baril, and Write About Love are among the Philippines's entries to the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2020. The Osaka-based annual film festival announced this year's line up recently.

Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos-starrer LSS have been chosen to be a part of the 'Special Programs: New Action! Southeast Asia's section, which "highlights new movements in Southeast Asian cinema and features a wide variety of films."


On the other hand, Babae at Baril, topbilled by Janine Gutierrez, and Write About Love, topbilled by Rocco Nacino and Miles Ocampo, are among the 15 contenders for the Grand Prix or Best Picture Award and the Most Promising Talent Award.


Other entries from the Philippine include Metamorphosis by Jose Enrique Tiglao and Sunshine Family by Kim Tai-sik (produced by Spring Films and South Korea-based film production company, Film Line). Both will be screened for the 'Special Programs - New Action! Southeast Asia' section.

Osaka Asian Film Festival 2020 will be held from March 6 to 15, 2020.
