tvN's rom-com Crash Landing on You has ended its run with a bang!

According to Nielsen Korea, the K-drama series that stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin had an average nationwide rating of 21.683 percent and a peak rating of 24.1 percent--smashing the record set by Goblin in January 2017 (with a 20.5 percent peak rating).

Based on research, the recently concluded K-drama is the second-highest-rated Korean series in cable television following JTBC's Sky Castle with a 23.779 rating.

Crash Landing on You tells the story of two star-crossed lovers, a South Korean heiress and a North Korean elite who also happens to be an army officer.

Their plot starts when Yoon Se Ri paraglides accidentally in North Korea where she meets Ri Jeong Hyuk who agrees to help her return to South Korea.

The finale definitely delivered the kilig K-drama fans often crave for.

On Twitter, fans of the series couldn't help but gush (without spoiling) the finale episode.
