BLACKPINK's Jennie wants to have a comeback album this year

Jennie of BLACKPINK has heard her fans because in a special video in Vogue Korea, the K-Pop superstar shared that one of her goals this year is to create a comeback album.

Yes, you read that right. A comeback album.

In the video, the Korean singer simply stated in the camera, “Comeback with a new album!”

And to emphasize her point, she added, “That's it.”

Fans of the Korean girl group have long eagerly awaited for the group's comeback.

According to reports, YG Entertainment has recently postponed the much-awaited return of the BLACKPINK after it has revealed that it would happen around March or April.

The postponement was said to be due to the threat of COVID-19.

BLACKPINK's last song “Kill This Love” was released April last year, making the comeback a year-long hiatus.

In other BLACKPINK news, their debut single “BOOMBAYAH” sets a new record as the first K-pop debut MV to hit 800 million views.

The report was made by Korean news outlet Soompi last February 24.

The song was released back on August 8 and it took over three years, six months, and 15 days to hit the 800 million mark.
