Kapuso stars continue their journey with GMA Artist Center
Various Kapuso stars renewed their contracts with GMA Artist Center today, March 10.
Chinito Cutie Manolo Pedrosa is happy to count more years with GMA. Ever since he made his showbiz comeback in the Kapuso Network last 2018, he shared that it just keeps getting better.
“I'm very grateful that GMA trusts me. This time ako yung leading man ni Pauline. What's good about working with Pauline is that I'm already close with her kasi kasama ko siya sa workshop under Anthony Bova. Na-establish na yung trust and connection namin and we've shared our vulnerabilities with each other through the workshop,” he revealed.
The Kapuso heartthrob is set to take on a challenging role in the heart-tugging drama 'Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat'.'
Elijah Alejo and Julius Miguel, two of the stars of top-rating GMA Afternoon Prime series 'Prima Donnas', are thankful for the opportunity to grow more with GMA Artist Center.
Known for her role as Brianna, Elijah has already been a Kapuso for a decade. Meanwhile, Julius, who plays Uno, has been with GMA for five years now.
The young actors are very proud of their show's success and take pride in the close bond that was formed among the program's cast members and production crew. They also revealed that there are still more twists in the show that Kapuso viewers should not miss.
“Nakakatuwa dahil kahit mga teacher ko, tawag sa akin Brianna. Ang importante alam ng viewers na masama yung mga ginagawa ni Brianna at Kendra (played by Aiko Melendez) kaya hindi dapat nila gayahin,” said Elijah.
“Halos seven months na rin kaming magkakasama. I think it wasn't really difficult to build a chemistry around the show. Tiwalang-tiwala rin ako sa staff. They do their job really well,” Julius added.
The child actors who charmed Kapuso viewers in popular Kapuso programs, Raphael Landicho and Euwenn Aleta, also renewed their contracts.
Raphael breathes life to the role of Andrei, Carla Abellana's son, in the top-rating GMA primetime series 'Love of my Life.'
He promised fans that there will be more exciting scenes to watch out for in the succeeding episodes, “Patuloy ninyo lang pong suportahan ang 'Love of my Life,' at abangan ninyo po ang mga susunod na pangyayari, marami pa pong exciting na episodes.”
Euwenn, on the other hand, is a mainstay in GMA Public Affairs program 'AHA!' He thanked the viewers for their continued support, “Nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng nanonood ng shows ko sa GMA at happy po ako sa lahat ng blessings na binibigay nila sa akin.”
GMA Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer feels gratified with the renewed partnership with these artists, “We're excited to showcase more of their acting prowess. We know they're young but we can see their passion and love for work. We believe that these artists are some of their generation's exemplary actors so we want to keep on developing them.”
