Mike Tan personally disinfects house to shield family from COVID-19
Kapuso actor Mike Tan admitted that staying at home for a long time has never been his hobby, at least, since his work in the entertainment industry requires the opposite.
Luzon undergoes enhanced community quarantine in order to contain the spread of the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country effective March 17 until April 14.
In the fifth day of quarantine, Mike shared that his family is well prepared for it.
“Bahay lang talaga kami. Meron na kaming enough na pagkain, supplies,” he said.
He also believes that the best refuge for him, his wife, and two kids during this crisis is the comfort of their home.
“Ito na 'yung safest area natin. Puwede nating gawin kung ano 'yung normal na ginagawa natin dito sa loob ng bahay. Pero 'pag lumabas tayo, 'yan na. 'Wag mo nang hawakan 'yung mga mukha ng mga bata. 'Wag na nating hawakan,” he added.
Aside from this, the actor then noted that he's in charge of disinfecting the house. This is his way of making sure that everything inside his home is safe for his kids--a toddler and an infant.
“Naglinis ako ng bahay ko. Talagang dinisinfect ko muna, e. After vacuum, steam ko rin. Siyempre dalawa 'yung anak kong bata,” he said.
Fortunately, before the imposition of quarantine in Luzon, he and actress Glaiza de Castro have already finished taping for their upcoming series Seed of Love on GMA Network.
