Kapuso actress Myrtle Sarrosa donated funds she raised from doing her #HealingHearts livestream to the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

Myrtle did a livestream on March 19 to raise funds for the continuing efforts against COVID-19.

"Hi to everyone who is watching us ngayon. Welcome to our stream this evening. Medyo kakaiba 'to so today wala tayong video games. Hindi ako magsi-stream ng Ragnarok," she says in the opening of the video.

She partnered with Facebook and used its game streaming service where viewers can send "stars" which can be converted to money.

"All my Star Donations will be donated to support health care workers and frontliners who are experiencing shortage in disinfectants, personal protective equipment, and food supply.

"Please if you have extra free stars, you can trust that it will be of good use," she wrote on the description of her video.

After the stream, Myrtle was able to raise PhP 10,000 from livestream which she topped with an undisclosed amount. She donated the sum to the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
