If there is one industry that is feeling the brunt of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, it's none other than the airline industry.
In a recent IG post by Jess Labares, once hailed as a trailblazer in the LGBTQIA+ community for being the first transwoman flight attendant in Cebu Pacific, she shared that the recent health crisis has been difficult for all of them, whose job is connected to the airline industry with all these flight cancellations.

In a report by GMA News Online, local airlines have decided to cancel all their flights. Cebu Pacific announced all its flights starting March 19 until April 14 are cancelled.
Philippine Airlines has also announced the cancellation of all its flights beginning March 20, while AirAsia has decided to cancel their flights from March 20 to April 14.
The former Philippine representative at the Miss International Queen 2020 took to Instagram to express how much she misses being a flight attendant.
Jess stated that she considers her co-workers her family.
"I miss you ️ As a flight crew, our priority is to transport you from point A to point B comfortably so as your safety. In this time of world crisis, we will be resting our wings for a while and some are for good but definitely not forever.
"It is such an honor serving you on board. Thank you to all of you I stumbled during my journey -- my mentors, supervisors, managers, colleagues, friends and passengers -- you were all great and amazing.
"Its not all the time you find home at work but this time, I found one. I can say I fell in love with this job."
She ended her post with a positive tone saying, "Until we meet again. Soon, we will be 'flying with you'.
