A day ahead of April Fool's Day, several accounts have already been warning the public against making “COVID-19 positive” jokes on April 1st.
Among those who were giving Public Service Announcements were Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.
In a tweet made earlier today, March 31, Vico gave a light touch on the PSA by warning his followers: “Ang mag-April Fool's joke tungkol sa COVID, ipapasok sa isolation facility ng 14 days.”

Of course, the joke sat well with fans while some took a jab at flirting with the incumbent Pasig City Mayor.
Vico Sotto is known for his sense of humor to which his mother, Coney Reyes, attests to. According to Coney, her son definitely got his sense of humor from his father, Vic Sotto.
In an Instagram post, the veteran actress wrote, “I thank God for his sense of humor (which I'm sure he got from his Papa) amidst all that we are experiencing as a people, as a nation.”
Recently, Vico also poked fun at his profile photo while warning his fans about fake accounts surfacing during this time of crisis.
He said on Twitter, “Don't forget that there are a lot of fake accounts, fake quotes, fake anything-you-can-think-of… Hassle to deal with this on top of a health crisis… 'Di siguro maiiwasan sa panahon ngayon lalo na't maraming bored.
“Basta 'yung totoong account ko verified at pangit 'yung profile pic.”
