Ruru Madrid and Athena Madrid donate over PhP 12,000 to #HealingHearts fundraising concert

Kapuso siblings Ruru Madrid and Athena Madrid went live on Facebook today, April 1, for the #HealingHearts online donation campaign and concert.

#HealingHearts is a series of Facebook livestreams from various GMA Artist Center artists, where they sing inspirational songs to spark hope and encourage people to be more positive and strong during these trying times when COVID-19 is affecting the lives of everyone.

The live concerts also serve as a fundraising campaign to help in Kapuso Foundation's efforts to aid our fellow Filipinos who have no means of livelihood due to the enhanced community quarantine.

During their livestream, Ruru and Athena vowed to donate the number of their viewers, doubled, to the #HealingHearts cause.

At the end of their Facebook live, the siblings were able to gather more than 6,000 viewers which amount to over PhP 12,000 which will be used to help the communities affected by the pandemic.
