Conan O'Brien's 'house tour' is an April Fools' Day prank and fundraiser in one

By Marah Ruiz

American talk show host Conan O'Brien is currently broadcasting his show Conan from his home in Los Angeles due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the April 1 episode of the show, he talked about how some celebrities seem out of touch with the current situation as they post inspiring messages from their luxurious homes.

Conan goes on to give his own 'house tour,' which features a lot of poorly-made CGI.

His April Fools' Day prank, as well as the rest of the show's segments being uploaded on YouTube, are part of an ongoing fundraiser for the CDC Foundation to help fight COVID-19.

The CDC Foundation is a non-government organization which works closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The US has over 200,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with over 4,000 deaths.
