Announcement: GMA-7 Black Saturday Programming

As the Catholic Church and the Philippines observe Lent, GMA-7 has prepared an inspiring and heart-warming program line-up this coming Maundy Thursday (April 9), Good Friday (April 10), and Black Saturday (April 11).

Black Saturday opens with the broadcast of the April 2020 general conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 5:00 am.

Next up is a line-up of animated feature films, beginning with the beloved anime Detective Conan at 8:00 am.

It will be followed by Disney favorites “Ratatouille” at 9:00 am and the musical fantasy “The Princess and the Frog” at 10:30 am. The endearing story of the Russian princess, “Anastasia” will air at 12:00 noon.

Get ready for a good cry with Mandy Moore and Shane West on “A Walk To Remember” at 1:30 pm.

Find out more about Biblical figure Mary Magdalene in “Jesus His Life: Magdalene” which features the voice of Kapuso star Sanya Lopez at 3:00 pm.

Dingdong Dantes and Iza Calzado play would-be-lovers separated by time in “Moments of Love” at 3:30 pm.

Kapuso actor Ken Chan lends his voice to Peter, one of Jesus' disciples, in “Jesus His Life: Peter” at 5:00 pm.

Patrick Swayze has unfinished business in the classic romantic drama movie, “Ghost” at 5:30 pm.

Leonardo di Caprio reminds us the value of sacrifice in “Titanic” at 7:30 pm.

I-Witness will be featuring the documentaries, “Holy Land: Sa Mga Yapak ni Hesus” and “Nasaan si Maria?” at 11:00 pm.
