Ashley Ortega hands out ready-to-eat meals to homeless people

Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega dropped off some ready-to-eat meals to homeless people, on Friday, April 3.

Ashley braved the current risky situation and personally delivered the foods to some street children and their parents.

Prior to this, Ashley asked her followers to pray for the country and other communities who suffer from the health risks of 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

“Let's all take a moment of silence to reflect on ourselves. To ask God for protection, guidance, and healing not just for ourselves but to all the victims who have been affected by coronavirus. And to all our frontliners out there who have been our modern day heroes in these difficult times.

“Also, let us not forget that God will never abandon us. So let's just keep the faith because tomorrow will be another day, tomorrow will be another hope to everybody.

“So let's just be safe and be healthy with our families at mabuhay po tayong lahat,” she said.

Ashley joins the list of celebrities who contributed a hand in donating food and other supplies for the affected families of enhanced community quarantine caused by COVID-19.
