BTS V wins 'Ultimate Asian Heartthrob' for the third time; earns hall of fame status

BTS V has been crowned once more as Starmometer's “Ultimate Asian Heartthrob” for three consecutive years earning him the “Hall of Fame” status on the site.

Every year, entertainment site Starmometer gathers millions of voters to participate and select a single winner among 100 popular and stunning Asian men.

For this year, V grabbed his third consecutive win with a total of 7,180,481 points from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and through an online poll.

He is then followed by fellow BTS members Jungkook, Jin, and Jimin.

Soon after his win, the hashtags “#VUltimateAsianHeartthrob2020” and “#HallOfFamerv” were the trending topics in the Philippines, USA, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, and Malaysia.

Before his win, V has already been recognized by several voting and magazine sites for his good looks and appearance. To date, he has won 1st place in numerous handsome votes and has 15 handsome titles in his belt.

V is known for his mysterious appearance that blends between both East and West.

As written in entertainment site Dispatch, “V, which is called K-pop's representative visual, is recognized not only for his handsome face but also for his amazing music and emotion as a singer-songwriter through his song, 'Sweet Night', which was released as the OST for the recent drama 'Itaewon Class.'”
